Inclusive breakfast, substantial but unfortunately poorly served, staff seemed confused as to who should be doing what

On arrival no help was offered with luggage in spite of room being a considerable distance from Reception. Room was at street level, in fact adjoining the pavement therefore it was necessary to keep blinds partially closed, also not posible to open the windows. There was no air conditioning therefore high humidity in the room. A spacious bathroom but water supply seemed to date from Roman times, it took 25 minutes to half fill a bath with hot water. We attended a family function in the hotel, the food was disappointing.

A beautiful bulding converted into a hotel. An excellent friendly young waitress at breakfast. Typical breakfast fare.

Both older women I delt with at reception were quite unfriendly and seemed disinterested. The man who was checked in just before me seemed to be a regular customer and was given a very friendly welcome. The room was also a dissapointment and nothing like the promises of the website.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room had good facilities and a massive bed. Free car park was great. Location in terms of the town was also very convenient.

However, the street outside was very noisy- there was a hostel opposite and in terms of pricing, we got a free up grade to a luxury suite which was a fantastic bonus but I would certainly advise people against paying the advertised price(for a suite) as it was all a bit shabby and flimsy. Breakfast was sufficient but again lacking in the 'special ' touches you would expect from a hotel charging these kinds of prices.

All of the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Ideally positioned for exploring norwich.Lovely breakfast.

Would have been nice to have fresh milk in the room to use with tea and coffee facilities

Staff very good and helpful. Great for the city centre as you are just about in it:-)

The only thing they should put details of where you have to park on their web page. Its before you get to the hotels and down a side street and behind the hotel, once passed you have to go right round in a big circle and if you do not know the area you can easliy get lost in the city centre and this is from some one who comes from Norwich!!

The staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. Lovely bathrom. ( a towel rail for a hand towel would have been useful). Interesting decor. Good location for City.

What could have been an enjoyable stay was totally spoilt because the temperature in the room was unacceptably high making it virtually impossible to have a decent nights sleep, or indeed, relax in the room. Whilst a fan was provided it meant putting up with the noise or being hardly able to breathe. Neither choice being condusive to sleeping or relaxing. I complained but was informed the hotel was fully booked.

We liked the location including parking in the centre of Norwich. The room was very clean and comfortable. The complimentary goods in the room were excellent especially a simple thing as a bottle of water and the organic toileteries. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good without the usual buffet but a choice of eggs benedict and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon.

It was so convenient to shopping, Cathedral and City sights. We were able to stay in the car park for the day, after we had checked out

The location is perfect for exploring Norwich on foot, helped by the free secure car park provided by the hotel. The staff were friendly and obliging.

The rooms at the front of the hotel are affected by the noise from the road but it's location outweighs this problem.

A very opulent and superior hotel. The attention to detail was admirable and I would have no hesitation in recommending your establishment to any freind or business colleague.
